
To provide a richer story around series 6 of drama Skins, Channel 4 commissioned content agency, Somethin’ Else, to produce carefully scripted activity and conversations across various social media platforms. To complement this, I was hired to work with Somethin’ Else, to design a site that collated all this activity, and present it in an easily digestible way.
This was a complex visual and interaction design job, where showing the interplay between different characters, as well as the significance of the times and platforms through which they were communicating, was crucial to the storytelling. We developed a flexible, coherent system that reflected the style of the show, as well as filtering spoilers.
